Power users have found that Mozilla's Firefox browser is a better tool to work on Joomla websites than Internet Explorer. That was more true of IE 6 than of release 7, but Firefox comes with extensions that are particularly useful when working with Joomla. One of the most useful for working with Joomla is FireBug, which allows the user to see some of the code in the site more quickly and easily than logging in to the site.

Firefox is to release a new, even faster version, Firefox 3, based on an extensive revision of the web browser. Beta versions have been released, and the first Release Candidate is supposed to be out in the next few weeks.
